Thanks for the suggestions guys. I tried them all and no luck so far. I'm gonna try to seal around the headlight a bit better than it is. It looks like snow is pouring in around the headlight quite easily, then dumping right into the airbox. Great design
Looking for any ideas you guys might have. I have a vertical escape 800 that is sputtering at half throttle and above. It runs great off the start, then after riding for ten minutes starts to sputter when you hit the throttle, but never threatens to quit completely. Shut it down for a while, and...
As I'm quite ignorant when it comes to sleds, thought I'd get some opinions from a range of people.
I've been looking for a sled to boot around on at home here, no mountain riding, so a reasonable track on it, and I keep seeing these 440 Pro X sleds. Does anyone know how they would keep up to a...
I also have an 06 Outlander 800 and went with 28" mudzillas, and it needed wheel spacers on the front. They're an awesome tire for mud, not quite as aggressive as the outlaws or silverbacks, but I've also never snapped any axles. Good luck in deciding
If horsepower is a deciding factor for you then the Rincon may not be what you're looking for. Most guys I know with the 680 are very dissappointed. Sure you've heard this already though.
I've got the same response back whether it's on Buy/Sell or Kijiji (also lots of scams). About two days after you email they respond with " I've left the country for work, and the machine is in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Mississippi, etc. If you send the money through this 3rd party I'll have it...
If you're feeling brave, snorkels aren't that hard to build yourself on the outlanders, and there are quite a few pictures on the internet from other guys who have done it. I did mine for a little over $30, and they're hidden up front at handlebar height under the plastic, not quite as high as...
Thanks for the advice. It's a couple hours drive out there and a wasted trip if we go in blind and can't ride. I learned of the rally out there through this site recently and look forward to it this spring. I'm always looking to meet new friends to ride with. See you all there real soon.
I notice you're from Rimbey, was wondering how much snow there is out there yet. We were thinking of going on quads around medicine lake area, wondering if the trails would still be too full of snow.
Does anyone live out by Medicine Lake/Alder Flats area? Just wondering if the trails will be too deep with snow yet for quads. We got next to no snow left here but no where to ride
