you have to break the bead first, after that 2 long screw drivers or long pry bars will work and dish soap for the bead. Pretty easy just try. good luck
I wont a tire that rides nice, performs well in the snow and mud as I quad mostly at McLean Creek, every tire works on solid ground. I have mud wisers and they work well in the tree roots and mud but suck in the snow as the compound rubber is way to hard and are like skates going up the hills
I agree with DaveB and you will still only have a 400, and you haven't even checked the clutches or the diffs or electrical. If you are a newbie leave it alone and spend the money on something that runs and you will still find things that will need fixing$$$ my thoughts
thanks for all the info I have ordered a Wild Boar kit the cost is $210 after delivery to my door, It looks better then what I could come up with now the wait. A I 'm waiting for my big bore kit for my 700 king, witch will be 750.1cc oh ya.
crappy tire has plastic paint. I have had good luck with (rust-oleum) it is for all surfaces. It hasn't pealed off or faded and my colour match great, good luck.
I would like to relocate my rad, I have a 700 king what angel do I set it at? and do you change something at the neck of the rad so the rad can be filled right up, or does it not mater? Any thing I haven't thought of that you know I should consider would be appreciated.
My issue is the cylinder has a small hole on the right side it is from the factory and it looks like a weep hole, it has never weeped before is this an indication that the head gasket has failed some how. the hole is wet but not oily . anyones opinions or thoughts on this would be...
NO no no, I bought a cylinder last year and had the cylinder honed, but he could not get it totally cleaned up because of the lack of nickel left on the cylinder. Well the compression was still low when he finished it 110 lbs now it is at 90 lbs. You cant bore the cylinder like a car, because of...
that happened to my buddy, he bot it back and the insurance company would only give pl and pd no collision or theft or fire as the insurance wont pay twice for the same machine. He has a pink card that says he is insured though, hope that was helpful.
Thanks for all the input, rings and a cylinder and gaskets about $520, no piston at black foot motor cycle hows that for a price? Every time I fix this dam thing I wont to keep it, I guess I just have to cut my losses, I hate to give up on a machine. Thanks again, cheers with beers.
munhoez can you help me out with a place to buy a cylinder, and rings for the 700 king quad. I had the cylinder honed once but now she is blowing smoke again. The piston should still be good. As it was new last year. It is almost time to have this quad disappear for good. I'm looking for a cheap...
who knows where I can buy a big bore kit pistons rings and jug for a 700 king quad an did you notice any great gains and do you know the price of the kit
I hope you will have better luck than I did. I have a power commander 3, HMF exhaust on my Suzuki 700 king and I really never notice any performance at low or mid range, only at top range. What I was not looking for. The down loads skipped my year 2006, wish I new were to get the maps for my...
