They have it right. A longer track floats better, but it is harder to throw around. For all around riding the 154 is a nice track and still works well in the powder.
Your wasting your time with that clutch if you don't have the updates done to it. Get the updates done and it will help you with your problems. I have seen the same things on other 07's till they were fixed. The bushing on the primary locks up when it gets hot and just destroyes the belt.
I've got an 07 XRS and it use to blow belts every 100km. So I went to a polaris primary and team secondary and floated the secondary. Now i'm getting at least 1500km to a belt. Before I changed clutches I tried a Carlisle ultimaxXS 3 and it lasted twice as long as the doo belts and there...
there is a way around the bad part of the old trail, where the old trail turns right and starts to climb you can go stright but there is ALOT of willows. This cut around allows you to miss the icy hill part of the trail.
Re: valmount
All those pics are from yesterday sunday Nov 23 :d watch the south faceing hills, there is a foot less snow or so. seen alot more rock! We used the old trail it was in good shape. save the new one for the groomers!!
Re: valmount
We rode from the parking lot of allen today, there is enough snow on the trail to keep your sled cool. the snow up top was awsome, so we tracked it all up!!!:d:)
