I don't have any pictures here at work, but my dad restored his 74 SS 300 Elan for me when I was 4. It is now stored in the back of my dad's heated shop and still starts first pull.
We buy our marked premium bulk from the local bulk plant 450L at a time. The plant sells 4x more premium then regular because its only 4cents more then regular, and the dye is added in after it leaves the tank. We have a flowmeter and filter on the tank, and a group of us share the cost...
As of yesterday. There was about 4"-6" of loose snow ontop of hard. Snow pack is atleast 2' short of average and 4' short of last year at this time.
January (and so far in Febuary) was one big warm spell with daily highs consistently above freezing:(
Good coverage over the rocks on top...
Forest Power Sports in Prince George and Evergreed Industrial in Smithers are both horrible. Their parts people don't know what they are doing, their prices are up 40% higher then the recomended retail, and they have little knowledge about the product they sell.
I deal with Evergreen all the...
The local yota dealer here put a deck on a crewcab tundra a couple of years ago. It was a marathon deck and when they put two sleds on it, the rear axle was on the bump stops. I went by later and they had it on display by the highway with wood blocks between the frame and the axle.
The sled...
Seams a little early to put the sleds away. Hell, last weekend was one of the best of the year. Only missed one weekend all winter and got another month minimium of good riding.
A guy around here made is own 5th wheel trailer from scratch. I don't know the guy, but I am told that the only way you can tell it apart from a factory built trailer is that the fit and finish and quality of materials is all better. Sitting in his driveway, it looks to be about 30'-35' and...
The F150 will have besicaly the same power as the F250 5.4L. I drive an 08 F250 Super Cab Long box 5.4L with 3.73, and camper package (stiffer spring rates all around). With a steel deck and two sleds on, it has lots of power to maintain highway speeds. If it was a shortbox, I would be...
I was in French Peak on Sunday. Trail in was good, but the snow was windblown and hard as rock. There was a heavy inversion with temps over +10 degrees and very little snow ontop. I was the second person up the first gully and made it on my first try, but it took over an hour to get...
Thats why I installed an aftermarkert alarm and imobilizer. The alarm is too sensitive though, as I set it of unloading my sled from my buddy's truck next to it.
Good place to stay is the Hudson Bay Lodge. As for where to ride, depends on the weather. Been bitterly cold for two weeks, so I haven't rode to tell you where the good snow is. -30c right now with a windchill warning ontop of that!
Only the rich people around here use superglides. Everyone else goes to the junk yard and buys an old plastic pick up box liner for $20. The ridges keep skis straight and the skis slide extremely easy. I have been using them every weekend for 12 years, and they are still in good shape...
Don't have any pictures of it off the truck right now, might be able to get some later though. I made this deck this fall. Steel, with 12" folding sides, 16" beaver tail, 9' deck, 8' ramp, old bed liner for ski slides, and extruded headache rack. Materials, including shop supplies cost me...
