Thx guys....rad looked clean and I had washed the h*ll out of it last fall but I guess I didn't get it all. So I took all the front plastic off and sprayed it out good.:d;): Should stay cool until I get into the deep stuff again
Went out Sunday..had a blast breaking open some trails:d Still lots of snow in places as you can tell by how much snow is jammed in around the winch!
Yeah I left them in place. Snow does still build up at the front but my feet are rarely that far forward. If a guy were to remove that brace you would have to reinforce it some other way;):twocents:
I've got the snow eliminators from the states and thats all they do....eliminate snow. Hardly any extra strenght. Leave as much original material when you do the cutouts cause the boards will bend.
It explains how to do it in your owners manual. I believe you bring it up on the information center on the cluster, then u have to let air out of each tire starting with the driver front. Let air out till the trucks horn honks then move on to the passenger front, then passenger rear, driver...
You can also try KTM Rentals in Blackfalds, Ab if you come this way. I've only rented a sled from them but they had good rates and were easy to deal with.
