Go to cbbtrader.ca, they are quite accurate on the value. Also realize the dealers will never include the price of any add-ons ( unless it's in their showroom, then it's worth full price ) If you have any add-on's, take half the price of them new & add it to the price cbbtrader say's it's worth...
I agree with travisfader & bc ghost, don't use brake clean for anything but cleaning your clutches or the chaincase interior. And when you use it on your clutches wash it afterwords with just a mild dish detergent & hot water & let dry at least overnight. As for the WD 40, sure , it does make...
If you want some decent snow do not go to Alberta Beach this weekend. Was there last weekend & although it was way better than nothing, with the warm weather it won't be that good. Another place to consider might be between Ft. Assiniboine & Swan Hills if you do not wish to drive to Goose Tower...
So I did the v-force reeds, liked the mild improvement, was a b---h to get the air box back on though. Talking to a guy & he said to shave a little off the boot that connects the air box to the carbs. Not a big fan of this idea, wonder if pods would be the way to go!!! Anyone done this to the...
Anthony, go to cbbtrader.ca, these r almost exactly the price's the local Dealer's use. I found this out when I was looking for a new machine, & was curious what they would give me for my old one.
Yes, I do have to agree with u on the pain in the a-- it was to get the air box back on. Not so sure about shaving anything down though, it might mess with the seal on to the carb's. From a personal point of view I will probably put pod's on. If you do shave it down, post how it end's up, thank's.
Thank all you who responded, I did see the notice on the material from the box, figured they were just covering there butt, I was told this somewhere else & could not see the reason for having to change jet's because my thought was what the hay, the DPM should easily adjust for such a slight...
Hey anyone, put v-force 3's on my 01 Summit 700, some say I may have to change the jetting. I ran the sled after installation, noticed the change right away, smoothed the engine right out, but this was in Edmonton, curious about what it will do at McBride, hoping the DPM will adjust for the...
Hey Deaner, will be working on my sled tomorrow, i'll pull it outside in the light & get some good picture's of the seat. Hope to have them posted tomorrow night or the next day.
Hey guys, got my stock seat off my 700 Summit rebuilt from base up by John @CY Upholstery in Ft. Sask.He got rid of the sponge that the factory use's & replaced it with closed cell foam & added 4" to the height. He also got rid of the taillight & built a license plate holder in to the access...
Hey guys, in response to your driving light query. What I did long ago is take 5' piece of 2x4 and turned my lights on, then mark on the 2x4 roughly where the center of the beam hits, then when you hook to your trailer or load up on the sled deck hold the 2x4 in front of the lights and turn your...
