I had a similar thing happen to my '02 400 but it stopped charging the battery so everything died, including the fan etc. If you take the front rack off and the front cover there is a set of wires by the radiator that sometimes corrode....................it might be worth a look?
Although I don't know much about the yz 250, the first 1/4 throttle is set by your air/fuel mixture screw(s) so it sounds to me like you need to set those.
I think it was an awesome rally and really didn't see any out of control drunk people and most people we met were actually very well behaved(except for Denis :D). The snow kind of put a damper on things but we had a good time anyways. We drowned 1 quad, blew an belt in another the night before...
He also said he is having trouble getting them for some reason so that may be the last set he sees for a bit. If you stay in low range you may be able to turn them with that little quad of yours:D
They don't vibrate at all and are actually a very smooth riding tire except at very low speeds on...
I've had them for a couple of months now and have to agree that they are a very impressive tire. I havent had them in to much mud yet but will know more after Robb this weekend.
We've had the Zilla's on for a month or so now and they are and excellent all around tire. They are a little rough at slow speeds on very had packed trails but for the most part they ride very smooth. The best part is that they work very well in the mud and snow and are more agressive than...
Although that may help I don't think it will fix your issue altogether. By putting the larger tires on, the gear ratio's for your quad have been affected and the only way to offset that is to put a clutch kit in.......
Come on down man...............the more the merrier. I have this feeling that we are gonna have 20 guys from Wct with us..........eeeeeeeeeexcellent! I thought that Grizzly was for your wife??? That story sure ended real quick eh :D
You should also bring the big red with nitrous...............
Yah - you may want to bring some hockey equipment to protect yourself from the wipe outs..................dont forget to bring an extra front axle because we all know how hard you are on those :D
All joking aside, sumx54 is correct with his statement. All of these quads with CVT transmissions will require a clutch kit when larger tires are installed in order to keep up the bottom end "pep".
