We have stayed a Smokey Bears and thought that we got exellent value for the money. Breakfast was simply awesome. Eat till full and then get the bag lunch for the hill. Great deal. They even did a little guiding, but I don't think they have rentals! Cheers!
The boys in the club are always looking for more iron to save. Let us know and we can pass it on to the members if you have unwanted vintage iron.
Cheers!
It is always a tough pic for People's Choice. One never knows! It has to be cool or odd, or what people had growing up!
Some of the same sleds will be in Calgary, but I'm sure that we will be changing some of them up as well. We always try to have different sleds each year.
The club has a...
Most sled shops should be able to help. Look for the guy that is just the sled fix it shop and not a big dealer as they are less likely to help out! (not always)
Thanks to all that stopped by our booth! We had a new record for # of votes for the coveted People's Choice award! Drum roll please!!!
First place went to Lawrence O. and his beautifully restored 71 Puma!
Second went to Jerry K. and his rare, restored 70 Polaris Playmate TX Special.

Hey Lost, I was reading your posts on track porting. Thanks for all the info. Just had one question. Are you turning the holesaw forward or backward? I have heard of both. I'm wanting to port the track on my vintage mod drag sled. We are looking to lose some weight in the track! Any words...
Glad that some of you really enjoy the vintage sleds. The Relic Riders members are trying to save them from the dumpster, one rusty neglected beast at a time. The first vintage ride is on the sched for the first Sunday in January. Cheers!
Here are some pics from the Relic Riders Booth!
A pic of some vintage racers. Check out the size of the trophy on the Moto Ski!
A cool Moto Ski racer that was modded in 75 and never rode! New! For you Doo lovers.. a 775cc Mid mount rocket. I bet it is a man killer!
Here are two of the...

All loaded up and ready for setup in the morning. Thought that I would post a couple of pics. What a great day to be outside! One is a 6hp mini sled and a worn orginal oval racer. Cheers
I have been doing this stuff for years an the only extractor to use is the Snap On set. They are a spiral extractor that tights as you turn. Drill dead center, by using a center punch and if you have to, grind theface of the bolt flat and then center punch it. DON'T RUSH. Sometimes the...
Just a quick note that the Alberta Relic Riders will once again have a large display of machines from long ago. This year we are pleased to have a large display of mini machines! Please stop buy, say hi, and vote for your favorite old machine. These are the machines that started it all. Enjoy!
Great thread guys! If we know all these great "rules"... Why do we as sledhead5000 stated, see these rules broken over and over again? Guess I don't understand. One thing that I have to comment on is keep your wits about you. Save the booze and dope for a time when the sleds are safely...
I guess I missed one detail about this great new cabin. Where is it compared to the old cabin? Just to be sure, this is on Bolder right? Nice job on it for sure!
Cheers!
Just do your part at doing the RIGHT thing. Get training, Get Gear, Always were it and us your head. Live today to ride another day! Something as simple as not everyone sitting at the bottom of a slide potential would be just doing the right thing! I hope everyone enjoys there winter riding...
Please let us know when this is going to happen. There are a half a dozen guys in our club that will com out and run some machines. If you are going to be at the sled show, please stop byt the Alberta Relic Riders booth and identify yourself. We would be happy to chat and spread the word to...
