Powder Valves made a huge difference in my 13.... never had an outright powder bog since.
I would recommend a couple things though:
-I suggest gluing a piece of pre-filter over the openings to prevent snow/belt dust ingestion.
-I installed mine in the underside of the hood plenum. Removal of the...

Spent Weds in Chappell, great snow not many tracks. On the way out there were several large sluffs on the trail... the larger of which were easily 2.5+ foot deep slabs. The snowpack sitting on the bad layers is dense and heavy.
Rode Clemina on Thurs, stayed in the roadside cutblocks and cabin...
Fan powered venting like the blowhole are the only venting doing anything measurable.
I vented the $hit out of my IQ RMK.... hood, panels, console, you name it. No difference in riding temps, although it did cool down slightly faster when parked (lame).
My blowhole has cut my belt temps /...
I just spent 2 days riding in "the burn" on Bell Mtn. Not fresh snow conditions, but we had a blast with some of the most technical tree/creek riding I have accomplished this season. Plenty of untracked left up there for the weekend, the lower we went, the better the snow got. Enjoy!
Well we just got home, I wish I had better news but the wind has hampered any reloading in the Renshaw. Most open area's are wind roached. I probed just under 2 feet on a few random open hills... although we were able to find 5 feet + in the trees. It was sunny on and off, but quite chilly with...
There isn't really a base under there, but the snow is starting to set up. We did not spin down to dirt or grass anywhere... just the poor 4 foot tall pines taking a beating lol. Waiting for pics to upload, I'll post a few!
Me and a bud spent weds and thurs in Renshaw. I was probing anywhere from 3.5 to 4.5 feet in the alpine which doesn't sound great, but it was alot of fun. All the land mines were easy to see and avoid. It was snowing pretty hard on and off yesterday, unfortunately this was rain down lower on the...
The plug is in the main harness baggie by the upper overstructure. I used 2 spade connectors to tie my Pro-Design tether to the OEM connector. I choose to mount my tether up high on the bars, seems to stay out of my way better like this.
Yes the 2013 filter is different, and is tool free on the pump side. SPI now makes a complete filter replacement supposedly about 1/2 the price of a Polaris filter.
