Does anybody know who installs the AFC in trucks in Calgary? I have a Taylor Wings tank in my truck. Bought it from Truck Outfitters, but they say they won't put in the AFC.
Ya, it was the same way when I had my Marathon. I also had the deck sitting on 6" risers. Bolted down on all 4 legs. Never had a problem with it though. Had a few times when you would look in the rear view mirror and it looked like the Quads where gonna get thrown off by how much the deck was...
Here's something else that available. It's a bit pricey at around $800, but it is pretty much an all in one. Picked mine up on the weekend and have been playing with it the last couple of days. The monthly fee is a tad hi, but it comes with the GEOS insurance as well.
Here's a couple pics of mine installed. Didn't like the switch that came with the kit, so I took a kill switch from a KTM dirt bike. Just dremeled out the sides of the switch so that a zip tie would fit through it and used that. The only problem that I have with the kit is that the panel over...
Yeah I've got the covers for them. Not too worried though. I had 8 Lightforce lights on my Dodge before I sold it. The 4 on the front have never had anything on but the clear lenses. Always carried the black covers, just in case and have been through many a checkstop in BC and Alberta...
I was at FNNPF. Up near Cabin Lake. I was actually supposed to go work for Spectra on their pipeline installation after that project, but i took a job with Shell instead.
I have the Ridgid 30" light bar on my Sierra. It works awesome. I also have the Vision X lights in my bumper. They also work awesome. They are a little pricy, but when I bought my bumper, I was told that the mounting location was designed for the Vision X lights. The bumper still needed to be...
Are you sure it's 2000psi and not 2000kpa? I spent 8 months up at the Spectra plant that all the new pipelines are being fed by and I don't recall anything of that pressure. You need to calculate the stored energy factor and convert it to kilojoules. I have the formula somewhere and will try to...
Had my Marathon in my Dodge bolted to the box using 1/2" bolts and 4" x 4" plate washers. Had the deck in the truck for 5 years and never had a problem. Deck always had at least 1 quad or sled on it too.
Anybody use a programmable thermostat on their RV furnace in their trailer? I want to put one in my trailer, and just want some feedback. Both Dometic and Atwood make them for RV's, so they should work well and stand up.
Thanks
I did the whole front of my trailer with aluminum checkerplate. Looks good and takes the rocks a little better than just the aluminum skin. I also put a set of rock tamers on my truck, but didn't like how they would move around, even when tightened up. So I just built my own set of heavy duty...
Check out Princess Auto. The last time I was there, they had superglides and superclamps in stock. Can't remember the price, but I'm sure it's less than any motorsports dealer.
We were out there this summer and I was told that Spray Lakes Sawmill owns that road and that they are not going to maintain it anymore as they aren't doing anymore logging in the area. Was told that the road would still be maintained up till the staging area by the county though. I checked the...
