Pretty sure they were not. One was an avid rider but the other was out on his first or second trip. Have not been in touch with them a whole lot the last year which probably sheds a little light on my previous post.
The two people that passed away in this avy have been friends of mine for quite some time. I know they would have appreciated all of the kind caring words and the huge rescue effort that took place. A lot of real world heroes walk among us and we only see them at the worst of times. Doesn't seem...
I do agree that the oil sands are an environmental disaster after seeing it with my own eyes. Been in the oilpatch a long time and as far as conventional drilling goes, there is very little if any permanent damage to the environment. There is a reason why used drilling mud is now used to...
The Liberals will say anything to get votes and Stelmach knows he better straighten out the royalties or he is gone (probably is anyway). Last couple of Alberta land sales were excellent and oilfield stocks are doing good today, all a good sign for a change.
Good day. Way more snow around Fernie. We are heading to Morrissey tomorrow and the Fernie ski - snow report says the hills have recieved 10 cm in the last 48 hrs. Fernie snow forecast looks good over the next week or so also (fingers crossed). Have a good one. :)

Looks good. We have been considering going to Cranbrook area since Crowsnest area is a little short on fresh snow. Do you have any kind of directions to the Lumberton area and has it seen a lot of new snow lately? Thanks.
I appreciate the invite. We were looking at riding on Friday, first to the fresh and all that;). I know the snow back in the Notch is good but makes for a long trip if just riding for the one day. We always ride Fernie, Castle and Carbondale and figured it would be good to change things up. Do...
Good day. A few of us are heading out for a ride on friday and would like a little input on where to go. We were out at the Notch about 2 weeks ago and the snow was ok but heard there was more snow off to the north. By the looks of the sat images on the weather network it does look like further...
Good day. I would like to get a better handle on what kind of rpm i am running when climbing in the pow and would like to know if anybody runs a playback tach or maybe a shift light? Watching my tach while climbing does not seem to be the best option and i figured a shift light or playback tach...
