The climb before you drop in was sugar snow and slippery rocks. Saw a group of 3 make it up. Had to take a couple runs at it. Sleds were taking a beating. One more dump would be better.
Run 7 tooth on 3" tracks because you don't have much of a choice. Unless you go drop and roll chaincase (expensive). You can run the 2.6 on the stock 8 tooth but has performance and efficiency been left behind? A good question for debate.
You can fit a 3 inch camo track. Needs 7 tooth drivers and a chaincase mod for your 2012. Or you can add the new 2.6 axys track. Probably more efficency with 7 tooth drivers. Can be done with the stock 8 tooth I hear ( not recommended ).
Hang the hose on the coolant/chain case side. When you dump the sled the hose is high enough that the oil will not run out. Also works when rolling over.
Goto Caribbean Dreams Diving Store on 16th Ave NW. I got the cold shoulder from many scuba shops. Caribbean Dreams was very helpfull. Highly recommend.
Gates belt. You can get them through Napa. Much cheaper then the stock poo and decent performace. I use regular BPR9ES plugs. Turn up the oiler a bit and run the cap then calculate the oil usuage. Some guys like to add a cap of oil to the tank. I don't.
Efficiency of a belt drive is probably more of a weight savings then anything. Put a torque wrench on the belt drive system and the chain case system. You would be surprised which turns easier. I think the chain case is a plus. No more busted belts when doing some drops or jumps.
I have rooms booked for this weekend. Someone post some more pictures to make me feel better about going out! 10-15mm of rain for Saturday Could that be promising for up top?
Shadam is on the right track. Throttle bodies arent seated. That massive carb rack is hard to line up. I have a carb sync tool collecting dust if you need.
