I'd have to see one in person but looking at the cat site it appears that it is roughly the same size as the 120. Bigger seat, track, engine, actual clutch and brake but chassis is same size. Better than a 120 but not a big enough step up from the 120. This will be a good unit to mod though.
It rivets over top of the existing gauge plastic holder. I had to cut the stock one as in the pic. The gauge sits above the stock plastic now so it needs to be cut to fit the back of the gauge pack. The stock one is an $8 dollar part so I wasn't to stressed about hacking it up. Not sure if this...
I bought one of these when they first released them from mountain fit. Works great and keeps the snow from piling up on the gauge. I would have bought from Wayne if he had them at the time. Great guy to deal with!
Aren't you a ray of sunshine! LOL.
I guess I've been lucky so far. Bounced off some boulders hard enough to gouge the ski and wear bar up and throw me off the sled. I guess it depends where the hit occurs.
Here is my 13 154 XM. Installed a 3" T3 track and drivers. Also installed rear drop brackets from the T3 and moved the front skid location to a T3, basically same kit that SHR sells. It was a huge upgrade to this sled. Made it handle better I thought. I also have the RAS 2 front end.
Would be interesting to see what everyone has for clicker numbers and which ones are having belt issues. Mine are numbered 1-2-(notch for 3)-4-5. 200 miles on mine and on original belt.
I would never go back to a backpack after having the vest. Takes all the weight off your back and distributes it over your whole body. Hardly notice it's there. I don't notice it being any hotter than the pack.
Just make sure the rear shock is specified for a 174. The front skid shock is the same length for the the SP, X- 146-174 track lengths. The 174 rear shock is longer than the 163,154,146.
Hold off on the guide if you have experience in the mountains then. You can be the guide if you have any newbies. Not a lot of territory to explore there.
If it's just bent out of shape badly and not gouged up to much you can try putting it into a bath tub with some really hot water. It should go back to it's original mold shape.
