Everyone was concerned when that happened in BC, but Albertans were not responsible for it, and Albertans have not opposed any BC products coming through Alberta. Maybe we should start.
I apologize for calling people whining pussies, was a bit stronger language than necessary. I don't believe it is as bad as some say it is out there and think the issue may be a bit overblown. Just my opinion.
What a bunch of whining pussy control freaks! If you don't want to have a drink on the hill don't but don't feel the need to tell everyone else what to do. If it was as bad as some of you say there would be carnage and death all the time out there but it is not. One poster said in his years of...
Voltage gauge on the right of the display doesn't show positive charge at idle, is good at start up but then doesn't take long for the gauge to show a negative charge, and flashes. I have to ride the throttle while warming up to keep the indicators in the positive side.
Is this the voltage...
Yah I frequent the AO site, a lot of hypocrites on there that think only other peoples activities hurt the environment. God forbid you drive a quad or dirt bike because you like it, it's only to be used to hunt. You know, to support their activity. Big argument over on that site about a dirt...
My diesel doesn't produce that black crap when i pin it. Has a programmer set to the mild setting and has tons of power. What is causing the black clouds from some of these trucks?
As for idling, I believe a lot of it has to do with people thinking it's necessary for the engine (some...
Furthermore, Alberta used to be a lot better place than when all kinds of people from other provinces came here, including from BC, because they don't respect our environment or our province in the least, because its not home for the, so this goes both ways.
Ya but it's okay for all kinds of people from BC to come work in Alberta in the oil patch, building pipelines, well sites, etc. I guess its okay to affect someone else's environment eh? How about all that raw sewage that gets pumped into the ocean at Victoria, but BCers are better...
Hey I hope I'm wrong, but they've been caught more than once lying about what happened. Hopefully the truth comes out and if these guys did try to run them over, I have no issue with the cops firing their weapons to defend themselves, but don't for one minute think that they won't try...
Only fact is that they were charged with attempted murder with a vehicle, does not mean they actually tried to run down a police officer. Cops have been known to press bogus charges in the past to try to defend their actions.
Sorry, meant to quote 007sevens last post in my post before this one. We all should have the right to protect ourselves, but you do not ever see the Police advocating that.
I hope we don't end up with a society in which the police are so "nervous" that I get shot because his/her gun is out during a routing traffic stop and they think that I'm reaching for a gun or I sneeze or do something else unexpected.
I agree with you regarding our rights to protect ourselves, but the POLICE do not. They will be the first to charge you if you use a gun to protect yourself, but will lie to defend themselves for mistakes (Vancouver Airport situation) or will defend their right to shoot someone without a...
Yah, cops in the US shot a 12 year old boy with an airsoft gun BEFORE THEY EVEN GAVE HIM TIME TO PUT IT DOWN!!
You honestly want it to be that way here? What if the cop thinks you committed a crime, but you didn't but you get shot for it. You'll think differently then.
Gun drawn for a routine traffic violation??? You gotta be kidding me! So if someone in the car moves the wrong way, some trigger happy cop can shoot him? You don't think that will happen? Give your head a shake. As one poster said, if a cop is so worried about his life he has to have his gun...
