I think that's the right answer but there may be loopholes. I moved around a lot ( about 10 years ago now ) and I'm sure my mistakes didn't all stick on the abstracts.

Although its possible for some trucks to get great mileage at 90-105 kmph, unfortunately for me a normal tank of fuel is mix city and hwy @ 125, and I will be very surprised if these new ones can get 20+ with "normal" ( for me ) driving.
I currently get 15 us mpg in my LBZ. Short commute...
^^. Your factory shocks will not limit stroke though the travel because you haven't changed any parts. You're likely so cranked up that you have no "sag".

Good thread, my '07 GM 3/4 has a GVW of 9200# and weighs about 7400 with me and a ( big) tank of fuel. Payload is quite weak. I wouldn't be opposed to looking at the new 1/2 tons when the time comes to replace my rig. It would be nice to do a towing test drive somehow though.

I had one done at this place last year. No problems with it. looks like your truck is $200 same as mine was. All the other places I called were quite bit more.

I think the biggest drawback is the weight. You're probably almost at your GVW before you even get anything on the deck. Maybe you have a big payload rated truck or maybe you dont care.. I would think you could rig up something to warm up the hydro fluid so it would fcn better in the cold if...
