Anyone running Roctanes? Likely my choice this yr.
I had 29.5 terminators ( measured 28" @ 12# ) and they were good. Smooth over 5 mph and lots of traction. I was concerned that rock riding with my heavy T4 would chew them up so I sold them unfortunately.

Love mine, I've been pushing large tunes for a long time and still ok. Built trans though. I'd just be sure to floor it on the test drive and make sure it feels ok.
Front wheel bearings are known to go, easy to feel when you jack the front end up.
Hourmeters were known to reset for no real...
Don't think the big checks come without a cost. We have some big OT numbers ( I was nearly lowest guy at 375h, 2 month TA ). IMO the happiest guys happen to have the lowest hours. Just my observation.

Re: Block heater cores on new Chevys
Block heater on a duramax is 1500w I believe. I installed a 500w pan heater as well. Valve covers are warm on a -25 morning. I'd run the pan heater alone if I had to choose one. Warm oil and heat everything from the bottom up. Ideal IMO.

I took the 2 year program at SAIT and then took 2 of Maidens classes ( work sent me ) ended up w a 2nd. Mikes classes are the ticket for exam prep. 1st class is a lot of work, and with the 7 year limit you can't waste any time. If you wanted off shift it might be the ticket though.

I guess the 8 mpg I get towing IS a 30% increase from 6 mpg, haha.
I drove a new suburban this week and I'm sure my dmax with a trailer would give it a run for its money though... I wouldn't tow anything with that.

I wish I had found this ( or it had existed ) 3 years ago when I went, I did the road to Hana on a Harley, not exactly a performance based situation. Although trying to slow down a 700# bike on the wet leaves with a 500' cliff on one side of that road will make you pucker! Haha.
At the time I...
