Well finally picked up a 30-06 ss xbolt. Certainly not fancy but should do the trick for me. The detachable mag seems to work well.

Ya definitely need the new one to have detachable mag! Travel a long ways on the sxs to get close to my camp and see the odd wolf , need to be able to just click in the mag and go.

Cheap junk that will not contact you back after they break apart. Sent tons of pictures to their warranty email, phoned and not a thing back. Also the mount kit did not fit the sled that it should have...easy fix with a grinder and washers but spend a bit more and get simmons or some decent skis...
