Just re-assembled the complete skid tonight with new rail and misc. parts like new bearings, slides and an inside wheel rear axle kit on my RT. Went together so well I decided to install it. Looks great and straight!! Received all the primary mod parts from A.P.P. but ran out of time today. Also...
Hey Gang, I just got a notice that UPS has a parcel for me. I've got to pay a$66.00 brokers fee but I got the stuff in a week! You also have to remember that I saved close to $150.00 buying Canadian BRP parts in the USA! Silly isn't it! Anyways just a little feedback for you guys. I hear that...
Just for your information Gerry @ Martin Equipment sourced everything out and ordered it for $185.00. 20 tooth 15 wide top gear, 15 wide 86 chain and the 440 spacer for behind the top gear. All done but the assembly part.
P.S. SNOW PLEASE SOON!
The BIG iron has to stick together. That picture is from the first year I had it........it has changed quite a bit since then. I will post a more current picture once I get it all back together!!!!!
This is good stuff guys. So if I am getting this right I need to order a 15 wide 20 tooth top gear with a thinner 440 shim behind the top gear as well as a 15 wide 84 pitch chain. Let me know if I am missing something!
Finally someone who can explain this! Its obvious that I was confused between the top gear and the bottom gear purposes. I will shelf the 22 and order a 20. I am running an 05 RT 1000 with 10 tooth drivers. If I go to a 15 wide chain then do I also need to change the bottom gear as well...
Hey guys, Im half way through a gear change from a 21 to a 22 top gear. I was told the same stock chain would work but shes a little tight. Is there another size chain or am I stuck with this stock gearing. Stock ratio is 2.33 with a 21 and the 22 will give me 2.23.(bottom is 49) Still have 10...
You hit it right on there Summit...........I also installed a gold finger on my sled Sunday and the clip is supposed to stay in until you are in the area that you need it. Not when you are loading it!
I first called them to quiz them on shipping and he explained to me that the online prices were cheaper and that the internet portion of the business was completely different than the call in orders. I ordered a 162 inch rear suspension rail, the two rail caps for the front of the rails and a...
