Great day riding renshaw. Atleast 2.5' fresh. Quite few spots windshield deep. Visibility poor, made it to the stepladder. Most people stayed around cabin.
Was really nice to finally meet hot rod
I have a bulldog superdeck. to seal it I just put conveyor rubber on angle iron and bolted to the deck. If I remember ill post some pictures tomorrow.
i personally don't like it resting on the box to seal up... boxes are made to flex.
agreed on the air over nitrogen. the highmarks well start to slowly deflate after 15min giving you breathable air, even though 15min is getting close to times up
Got highmark pro. love the size and amount of storage. The internal probe pocket is nice but it is a little short for my probe. Had some fun last night and deployed twice to practice repacking.
Due to the recent incident that happened way to close to home, the family has made me get an avy bag, which is a good idea. I'm looking at the snowpulse high mark pro currently but open to other suggestions. Pro's/Con's of any brand. what you prefer and why. which style air bag to get. theres...
We rode foam on Friday. Wasn't bad, snow was starting to set up and harden up. Alot of closures in foam. We stayed off anything steep due to the current conditions and didn't have any issues.
First time I went into salmon was my third trip ever in the mountains. Needless to say scared the chit outta me but it wasn't too bad. there is some sketchy parts, especially that side hill but for the most part not that bad.
I second this. was going to buy a '15 but sure glad I spent the extra and got a '16. clutching is way better. The temps are way lower, you can actually touch the clutches. for the 3 grand difference, just get the '16. by the time you change track on the 15 to a 3" and the drivers, and do front...
If I'm not mistaking that drop bracket doesn't really drop. it moves this skid back 20mm to a factory '14 position, if in fact that's the bracket I think your referring too.
If your getting a 16 LTD for 12,500 take it and never look back. hell of a deal and really beats ripping a tunnel apart just for color and shed snow. what year is yours, if its a 12 or 13 no point in doing it to shed snow because that heat exchanger still runs to the back and will still ice up.
