Here is the link i found on Highlifters site for the recall. Polaris ECM recall update
Fan running all the time was a common condition when the ecu's failed.
Good luck
Check with your dealer, but i believe there were problems with the ecu's for that year. They should be able to tell by serial number if yours was one of the affected units under recall for a fire hazard.
The EBS clutching on Polaris quads require zero belt deflection, there are no shims in the secondary for this set up. I have had the same issue of belt slip with my new 850 xp. Excessive belt dust at the exit of the exhaust snorkel and some times even the smell of a slipping belt all with stock...
Couldn't agree more with this. Toma Creek and Ruby falls are great examples. SRD has built huge roadblocks with signage on steel posts on the Toma Trail only to have it continually torn apart. Last time in Ruby, SRD had the scouts in building a new perimeter fence around the falls. Signs, fences...
Rubberdown custom lifts have what you are looking, Canadian company and top quality. You can also do the front end lift yourself very easily. Just buy some aluminum tubing for both the strut and spring. 1 1/2" under the strut and 2" under the spring. Would not exceed the 1 1/2" in length under...
To break the lower a arm loose from the ball joint simply loosen the lock nut and grab a couple of ball peen hammers. Hold one firm against the a arm by the ball joint and firmly hit the a arm on the opposite side with the other. A couple of sharp hits will break the arm loose from the taper of...
I carry a Rule bilge pump i took from my Jet ski, can't recall the size right now. It works great and is small enough to carry in the rear storage box of the sportsman. Any marine shop will carry bilge pumps in various sizes and are reasonably priced. Installed a cheap garden hose adjustable...
Miles is what i am refering to on my post. I never bother to change my setting to km's, have always left them as they come from polaris. Mine is the eps as well (17 litre) tank. I plan on running this tank to empty just to see how far i can go.
Putting on a set of 27" Zillas before the week end...
Just picked up my new xp850 and put on 100miles this past weekend. Still on the stock tires(meant for a golf cart) but found just the opposite with my fuel cosumption. 50miles on first ride and had 2 out of 5 bars showing on my fuel guage. At the 45 mile mark it was bouncing back and forth from...
Try Royal distributing, i believe i seen a listing in their catalogue for both cv joints and axle assemblies. Don't know about quality though. I also have a number some where for Rob @ Axle systems in Ontario. He is now independent but a great guy to deal with. Used to supply me with parts for...
Byron your a hard person to understand, slow down and articulate man. Yes i did pm _stevo_ and am waiting on a response. Not trying to steal your deal, just inquiring after you had changed your mind.
Stevo, was reading a thread by Byron who stated he was buying some 32" silverback tires from you then changed his mind. If you are selling, i am interested. Please pm me if you are still selling. Thanks
Hi Stevo,
Not sure if i have the right person. Reading a thread by Byron who had said he was buying a set of 32" Gorilla Silverback tires from you. He was now backing out and i am interested if indeed you are selling. Please pm me if you are selling.
Thanks
Bombardier outlander and renegade takes a 4/137 pattern, Polaris is a 4/156. However i believe if you check with Rubberdown lifts he makes an adapter to go between the two.
