I have a pair of Motorfist, just not sure of the model. Last season I wanted to buy another goggle and these MF just happened to be sitting on display. Honestly didn't even know MF had their own goggles. Didn't know anything about them, but they felt good in the showroom, so I took a chance...
Personally, I'd have to see it in person before forking over a penny, too many hidden surprises for me.
But my buddy was in your shoes last year. He lives 6 hours away. I went and looked at sled, test drove, etc. and gave him the :wtg:. He made the bank transfer. I picked up sled and he lived...
FYI.......he had a few personal issues to deal with in the last week, so a little behind. It won't hurt to shoot him a quick email to confirm your order. I ordered 10 days ago and got the call yesterday that they are ready.
My wife spends more on her hobbies than I do with the sled, so it's pretty easy to buy what ever I want.
However, I have a friend that bought a new sled. He stored it at my place for the first week, (he had no room) but that turned into a year. He would load up his old sled at home, come over...
Well, the gators don't have those little spikes like the super glides, that's the only reason the SGs are not slippery.
The gators are not hard shiny plastic, sort of a mix between rubber/plastic. There was a couple inches of snow on the trailer this past weekend, an they did not feel slick to...
Nothing wrong with the super glides, but here's another option. I'm trying these Gators, sold in Spruce Grove. Quality looks good, install simple, just have not tried the sled on them yet..

In the runabouts you're looking at, there isn't much difference in power plants. Aren't most of the engines GM 3.0L, 4.3L, 5.0L ?? Merc and Penta have their own outdrive (leg) and are very comparible and won't say one is better than the other.
By your description, the 5.0L may work better for...
If you don't want to spend $50 to go to a movie theatre, grab a 6 pack and a lawn chair and sit by the boat launch for some good entertainment. Try going to Sylvan lake on a weekend. I've gotten past being pissed off at people at the launch, cause I know it's going to happen. We usually go early...
I would check your local shops, and most have a rack full of non-current jackets at reduced pricing.
I have a mix-match of clothing. My Motorfist Redline jacket picked up at Edm show. Excellent jacket in cold and spring time.
Walked into my local Polaris dealer last summer, and purchased a set...
The tether took a while to get used to, but now it's just an automatic thing when jumping on the sled. It feels like something is wrong when I don't clip it on. I don't understand why Polaris don't come with a tether. It's pre-wired from the factory.
I have a friend that has an artificial leg...
thanks for the info......went to dealer and they only had the "ultimate". Similar to the extreme except had a couple extra bars running to the skid plate.
So, it looks like I need a new front bumper on my 2015 RMK. Fell into a hole and bent the stocker one. There seem to be quite few different bumpers out there, but wondering which to get.
I know the stock bumper is not the strongest, but I would rather have that crumple than causing more damage...
Here's a great example how the media influences people. The last few weeks there has been a lot of extra publicity in regards to snowmobiling.
My work office has a few sled posters and most of my co-workers know I love winter.. I cannot count how many people have approached me this week, and...
I have quite a few GoPro vids and trying to find out how to edit and build my own movie. I see that Window media don't work cause GP's have a different format. Asking at Bestbuy or anyone that sells these gadgets, can't get an answer.
So since I see quite a few vids on here, what is a good...
You should be able to make something up like Catman did. It's just round pipe.
FWIW, my 2015 "std" has aluminum pipe in there. I suppose it would bend before breaking if it ever got that far.
I did notice that the aluminum is also glued into the end pieces, but using nuts/bolts should not be an...
