Well the repairs are going well. landslides are cleaned up and today I think we finished the washout at 11. now Saturday we will but the bridge back to where it should be. gates ARE STILL LOCKED

Mckale/Blackwater FSR will be locked immediately for bridge and road repairs

club meeting next tuesday

guys got by the washed out road at 11 and in good shape from there on so all we need to do is finish the slide at 5 and fix the wash out at 11.

thanks guys but these repairs are to big for manual labour. all equipment so far.

no gofund. rod and I have only spend 3000 to get to 11 so not to bad so far. another 3000 for belle to put in culvert and fix road and a sluff

there will be no pictures at this time. we have cleared 3 slides 1 washout and huge rocks on the trail to 11 km. there we are stoped as there is no road due to a washout

update....our community forest has donated a crew to cut trees and a danger tree faller for wed. rod and I will supply excavator and loader so see how it looks after that. pictures to follow.

not sure how far a drone can go. need 22 km. SAR has one but want boots on the ground to go look. just hoping for a small bit of local dollars. we have the equipment lined up and I am going to operate so is rod.

200 feet long some places the trees are stacked 20-30 feet high. will try and post pic later. takes forever on here. that is the first slide the next one we walked to is 60 feet long but not as deep. that is up to km 6 only. we will need a certified faller and excavator and loader most likely...

just got off the renshaw trail. we are in a world of hurt. could not get past 6 where we ran into about a 200 foot long mess of trees and huge slide.
