It would seem it's no different for BRP owners. They'll even make claims about a superior competitor with no info to back it up. BTW, in case you are a slow reader, all repairs needed on my RZR were self inflicted. Oh, and for the record, I've not read about...
Dropped my shock off yesterday and he emailed me this morning to say parts should be here in four days. All for about $600 less than a new shock.

I've got around 1,700 miles on my RZR 1000 and have not had one issue that isn't self inflicted. Stuff that I've broke though, that's a different story.

If you look closely at the second pic, you'll see my winch cable hooked to the a-arm. Original, the stump only broke the front leg of the a-arm and cracked the rear. I made it 15-20 km before it failed completely and I was on an old road when it happened. Left it there for the night and the next...
Hmmm, where to start ? Before next ride, Left upper ball joint, left lower a-arm, left front shock, left inner cv boot. Hopefully, that's all. Oh, and for the record, when push comes to shove, three 200 +/- lb. men can fit in a RZR 1000.

Can anyone recommend someone in Edmonton who can rebuild a front shock from a 2014 RZR 1000 ? I connected hard with a hidden stump yesterday, destroying my lower a-arm, breaking my upper ball joint, and bending my shock rod. If anyone knows of 2nd hand parts, that would also be great.

Not arguing the torque factor, tex. I still miss the torque of my '06 900 RMK vs my '12 Pro. I was commenting on fredw's remark about a 20 hp difference between the Axys 800 HO and the Doo 850.

Show us your sources that put the Poo 800 at 155. Everything I've read on the Poo 800 H.O. puts it in the low 160s. Hmmm, only a couple hp less, yet 50 cc less. Good job Doo, getting two more hp out of an extra 50 cc.

What a relief ! I likely won't be spendin $15,000 - $17,000 (or more) this spring. Turbo option would've sucked me in for sure.
