Hardly. My sled has 800 km on it and still has the original plugs. Not every Boost had the issue and I’ve read that the new mapping is working well.

Chris, where do you carry all your other gear ? Dry gloves (2-3 pairs), warm mitts, balaclavas, first aid kit. Emergency kit, etc, etc ?

If you and your friends have never been, check out Stewart, BC and Hyder, Alaska in mid to late January. Most years they have crazy amounts of snow by that time and very low rider numbers comparatively speaking. We’ve been there twice and I’d love to go back again.

When the wife and I headed to Edmonton from Hinton on Friday, we were surprised at the large numbers of sledders headed west.

I have lots of Goretex gear and also eVent gear. Both are awesome, but I give the edge to eVent. Great riding gear that always keeps me dry in the most extreme conditions.

Goretex works exactly as advertised and so does eVent fabric. I currently own and use both and as good as Goretex is, I’ll give the edge to eVent. Both are fantastic, game changing products.

A concern a friend brought up that’s very plausible. If the UCP is successful in convincing Albertans to vote for an Alberta plan, are a large number of provinces going to be pissed that their CPP rates will be going up ? This scenario could definitely hurt the CPC going into the next election...
Well, a couple seasons with a turbo based altitude compensator and finally a full season with an actual turbo making horsepower.

That’s one thing my ‘23 Boost hasn’t had an issue with. So far, main wiring harness and max detonation detected warnings even when running premium fuel. Have to blend a little av gas to prevent it.
