i used the tire machine at work, a little difficult trying to clamp the rim, due to it being only 11". Seating the bead was also alot of fun. If you have the cash, have someone else do it.

priced out a set of wires from the local dealer for my Sonoma and ended up ordering wires, plugs, tps, dis, rotor and cap all shipped to my house overnight for the same price as the wires at the local dealer. Also ordered a whole bunch of Moog front end parts, and wheel bearings...
Well it seems he dropped his price to $500 now.
1995 kodiak 400 4x4 complete quad or for parts - Edmonton ATV For Sale - Kijiji Edmonton Canada.
I have a Yz250 now, but for riding with the woman on her Trx250, its a little hard to ride slower. Thus the quad.
thanks guys,
I have enough experience playing with motors (look up my "new factory shortblock" topic....) so i wasn't too bothered about rebuilding it, of course finding all the pieces is always fun. I was just curious if i did purchase this, what else are prone to failing on these quads? Are...
Hey guys, found a 95 Yamaha Kodiak 400 on Kijiji for $600 bucks. The guy said it had lost compression, so a rebuild is in order. Its located just outside Edson. Would you purchase it for $600 bucks? or would you walk away? Anything else i should be careful about buying this quad? Anything that...
It seems your house wasn't the only one that got hit, some theives decided to hit up my house on the northeast side of town, but the truck alarm scared them away. Idiots.
Yes, thats correct. I understand its still not the greatest neighbourhood, but in 2 1/2 years living there, this is my first run in/any problems i've had in the area. I just wish the builder would hurry up and finish my house in Fork Sask.
HAHA, if that thing would fit in my garage, then maybe! I did grab the 12 gauge and toss it down by the side of my bed before going to sleep. But no issues last night.
I also noticed that topic in the quad forum, about "stolen quad" soo it seems i wasn't the only house that got hit.
On the...
Well someone was nice enough to come and check out my dirtbike which i left in the back of my truck last night. They didn't take it, but they were thinking about it. Woke up to the truck alarm going off around 1am, and the back window was open but not broken. The glove box was gone through, and...
Anyone still interested in riding? I may not have the fanciest bike going, but I'd love to go out for a ride. Where do you guys usually go? (More highway? or city streets?)
hey guys,
Just curious if anyone had one of these kicking around the garage or shop? Or know of a shop in edmonton that has one? Been calling around alot today and can't seem to track one down. I need a rivet one because i cut the chain a link short and am already using a clip.
Alright, so got everything back together and set up. Ran it up for about 5 minutes until it fouled up the plugs, took them out and cleaned them up. Installed them again and then it fouled them again, so it seems to be "running" but needs to be tuned. Gonna try and turn out the air screw a turn...
Well went out and found a set of carbs, the guy said they were 2004's. But after searching the Body number (Tm40 - B328), It seems they are from a 2005 800HO.
Everything looks the same, here's to crossing my fingers. haha.
