Yes, our club does not make a cent off of memberships. We feel that this is an affordable option to hopefully inspire more people to become a member of our club and the BCSF
Windy and warm have been the theme of this week but the alpine snow is holding up well when you find terrain that has been sheltered from the direct winds.
20-30cms of storm snow awaited us in Superbowl today and plenty more in windloaded areas. The weather forecast is calling for continued...

Warm temps and stormy weather have been the trend this week. Down low things are wet and sticky, but the snow has remained soft and sweet up high. Please understand that we are doing our best efforts on the trails with above freezing temps and very low mid week users.
All three areas will...
Allan groomed up again tonight, Chappell and Clemina will have to wait for tomorrow, as use has been so low. Come on folks, come sledding! Its kinda fun!
All three riding zones will be groomed up tomorrow night for Saturday.
Please check out the RideValemount Facebook page for pics and a...
It's been terribly warm this week and user numbers have been extremely low. Allan Creek will be groomed up tonight, but Chappell and Clemina are not near grooming levels.
Please understand that +4 or any above zero temps do not work well with our efforts, but we will certainly continue to try...
Brrrr. Finally the temps are climbing up a wee bit to more reasonable levels. We warmed up some machines today and even with very low use this week, Allan and Clemina will be groomed up tonight. Chappell has had less than 30 users on the trail since the last groom and with these chilly temps...
The cold looks to be heading on out thankfully and that means the snow is heading in. Extremely low use this week and the riding is still pretty darn good off the main track.

Wise words said above, please use a cautious approach. Our group was a bit larger and we chose not to go through avy alley this weekend simply due to the new load and stormy conditions. Remember, we dont need avalanche terrain to have fun and get stuck. Enjoy all of this great snow and ride safe.
She's gonna be DEEP today!
I will reference for Luke above. Good dude and he would be welcome in my group anytime.
Ride safe and respect the new load and heightened avalanche hazard.
The groomers will be hitting up all three areas again tonight! Thanks for riding Valemount folks.
Please check www.avalanche.ca before heading out and ride safe
Sounds like a bit of an unnoticed reload out there last night. Reports of 30cms of fresh at Clemina this afternoon and the weather stations are reporting almost as much at Chappell!
Santa brought a second Christmas!
