I wonder what they are calling the issue. Spider failures? Button failures? clutch bolt? This bearing clutch design on both polaris and arctic cat from team have proven to have their challenges. If riders are not smart enough to set belt deflection properly you shouldnt own a sled. I hope they...
Interesting that it is a repair procedure, so those with P22's we wont be getting new clutches. Will snowcheck P22's have repaired clutches or is this a change in manufacturing for new sleds I wonder.
Hope this fix hold ups and dealers can do the recalls before snow flies
You can do the fix kit (good price from dragonweld above) or go to mots and just get replacement wiesco pistons and properly gapped rings. Bring your cylinder to Tom there, he will hone it and set the rings, then you just need to install. Dont trim rings yourself unless you know what you are doing.
For those who know where this is, figured it would be worth posting so you know what to expect when driving up. We parked at 11km, snow receeding quickly. Fun afternoon ride!
yup the sled he is on he bought from Caleb at the end of last year. Riding with him at start of the season, wasnt too many postives to say about kitty kat and how they treat their riders
The 9R has been a great engine. Pretty well exactly as advertised, just needs some clutching refinements. If someone wants a turbo then buy a turbo.
Comparison on the G5NA is bang on too. That setup works great. 9R by a nose hair IMO due to weight and acceleration out of the hole. Put a 325 on...
Has anyone actually ridden the 3.25 on here? I went with the 2.75 on my boost for 24. Feel like for the $500 upgrade there is other options. My most of our snow 2.75 works pretty good.

Had to read this a second time as I thought you were saying you were upgrading the wife. I am curious to see what happens to the 22 and 23 resales with 24 pricing going up again.
