Canadians with EVs drive more than ICE drivers

I said the headline was dishonest, not the whole article. Typical media clickbait.

    Baltimore bridge collapse

In theory yes, but I spent 31 years as an electrician in a pulp mill that was also designed for redundancy. Didn't stop me from spending more nights than I care to remember trying to get it running again after it failed.

Canadians with EVs drive more than ICE drivers

Blatantly dishonest headline. Second line in the article says EV's are #3 behind two forms of ICE vehicles.

Get out your bowl of granola to watch this one

"The climate is changing". Always love that statement. Just proves the stupidity of climate alarmists. The climate has ALWAYS been changing. Whoever convinced them that climate was ever static is an evil genius.

H.V.A.C Techs, Anyone want to help a guy out with his old garage furnace?

One of them (lower temp) is the fan switch. That's your likely problem. The other is the high limit, shuts off the gas valve if heat exchanger temp gets too high. From the pic I cant tell you which is which. They're both old, so just direct replace them both.

    Israel at War

Mutually assured destruction. Doesn't much matter who has the most nukes. Fire just one and there's gonna be more than enough of them flying around to completely destroy the human race. The planet will eventually heal, but we won't exist any more. And maybe we don't deserve to.

    Trail Etiquette

Our trails are always like that. It's called object fixation. You tend to ride where you're looking. Gotta take your eyes off the last guys track if you wanna move over. Used to love it when I still had a snowbike. Always some place to ride without being on the hard trail where the snowbike sucks.

BC Hydro wants to raise EV charging fees

Sure if all you've ever done is wire houses. Most electricians are way beyond that these days. B license is good up to 750 volts. My A license is unrestricted, and I've worked on systems up to 69kv. Been servicing UPS battery systems at EV type voltages for decades. The rest of an EV is just...

    Post your rant here

Who cuts green trees for fire wood? Dead trees don't sequester carbon, they release it. Oh wait.....we're talking about that idiot in Ottawa! Never mind. :sneaky:

That was First Peak behind Galloway off Big Sand. No where near Bull River. I thought so from the pictures, but the route map confirmed it.
