chicken wire. i cant stress this one enough...haha. carry about 10 ft of it coiled up around my hand in size. weighs next to nothing, small, and can REALLY get you out in a bind.
Clipped a rock during a short sidehill. 15kph. Witnesses all shocked at damage. No damage to anything else to sled. Carbides were lightly ground down as I do with all my sleds. It's a flawed bulkhead. If you know anything about the manufacturing world you would know what it costs to "update"...
I agree kanedog on the advertising budgets! The hype I meant was from social media. Haha. Just finished the review topic... Go have a gander if ya like!

I tell it as it is, always have, always will. I'm an average rider at best. Never will be more. Have worked in the industry for quite a few years. I've been asked numerous times on my YouTube page or Facebook page (Backcountry Bandit) if I could give a review on the big 3 mountain sleds since...
Writing an average rider review on the big 3. I have ridden the 18 Cat, owned a 850 doo and now have a 17 axys. I tell it as it is, no bull****. The 18 Cat hype is real.

Lol. Ya cause they had the same chassis in them.....
That's thing about brand loyalist, it only makes sense in their world. The crow eating in this thread has to help one think..... Maybe the competition is really good.
But, we're talking about maxwell here.... Would rather lie than admit...
100km original belt. 165" x 4k to 7k in elevation. Belt cover modded since day one.
Should also put mods, for the day I got it I took out foam and modded belt cover before any info of issues was spoke of. I lived through the 1100 turbo era.. Lol

I don't think people actually read posts and just can't can't wait to make their rebuttal based on a sentence or what they preceive it to say. These two posts indicate this.
As I stated, prior, if avy training was deemed mandatory, all mountain riders would benefit. The costs would be...
Ok, I'm not being a dick here. I get riled up when it comes to Avalanche training and people thinking it isn't necessary or what you just said.
The main reason people are being killed by avys on sleds..... Is because of the sleds and the gear. 10 years ago, sleds couldn't do what they can now...
What are you trying to say? That you don't think avy training should be mandatory?
Cool.
I disagree with you. I disagree with anyone that thinks Avalanche training shouldn't be mandatory when purchasing a mountain specific sled.
Agree to disagree.

I laughed at the tassels comment. Good one. I'm being serious.
Listen, I will never agree with any one who doesn't think Avalanche courses or helmets should mandatory.
The arguments against seem so juvenile, to me.
Most complain about the cost of any courses as their reasoning for not...
Typical.
Ndp? That's what you got out of that? Pro oilfield, bud. Ndp is terrible. What you're failing to understand is that people are dying in avalanches... Not one, not two, a year. Every time some one dies in an Avalanche the government is watching..... We are going to lose more and more...
Man, I don't get this mentality. Anyone who thinks they shouldn't wear a helmet on a motorized off road vehicle, needs to have their head examined. Mandatory Avalanche training, you're upset about??!! Wow. Fawking rights it should be mandatory. If you buy a sled designed for the mountains, it...
