Thanks I had a look at the cords and half are white and half are black. could be from when they cut the belt at the factory????

The guy I bought my sled from said the spare belt is new but it looks used to me. any tell tale signs a belt is used? It turns out it is the wrong one for my sled too so i am not planning on using it but if it is still good i could give it to somebody that uses that one.

Longhorn good advise on the two spare belts. But that is not what i am asking here.

Who said anything about minimizing costs? I am just interested in what people are getting for belt life.

I am not looking for a definite answer just an average across the board. everybody has different setups, sleds, belts etc. i know that will make a difference on the life of the belt but it will average out.

Tell her if you get a sled you will too busy sledding to knockup your girlfriend.:eek:

Ok did some searching on this but could not find anybody that ask this question yet. What kind of belt life are you all getting? I have read that some people change them every year but what kind of mileage are you putting on those belts. With proper breakin what should a person expect? Thanks

just finished with the first ride of the year and first ride on the new sled. It was nice to get out. only problem is i am going to have to go out again when my daughter gets home from school. :p

Thanks guys How are they for weight? I have a great pair of sorels but they are heavy and bulky.

The Wife wants to get me a pair of Klim Boots for Xmas and i don't know which ones to get. Arctic GTX or the Adrenaline GTX. I will be mostly trail riding for the next year or so but need to think about future mountain use. Your thoughts on these please Thanks

I would like to find somebody around here to do it for that kind of price. The dealer wants $350 to do it. I do not even know if it needs to be done the machine has low km's.
