Also check the float hight while the carb is out.I'm not a hundred percent shure but I'm thinking it was 13 mm from face where the float bowl sits to bottom of float. That cured alot of bogging issues I had on mine.
Look on the back of the fan for a SPAL part number. Take that # to auto parts store or order directly from SPAL. Less than half the price of a Polaris boxed part. Exact same fan but may have to change plug to Polaris plug.
Axle seals or pinion seal? Axle seals pull shafts and pry out old ones. Tap in new ones. Pinion seal, remove diff, unbolt pinion bearing housing (4 bolts on front), remove nut in center of drive coupler and remove. Pry out seal and replace.
Are you looking for a differential? If it is the cage that is broke you can get the rebuild parts from John Deere, they are less than half of Polaris and are the same parts. I have part #s if you need them. I think I've also got a rebuilt diff at dads place if you need it.
I thought it was kinda funny they said that the typical "Thrillrider" is college educated and makes upward of $60k a year. Yes we are terrible, we work and are educated. What are they, unemployed welfare cases?
Put a Heel Clicker kit in my wife's 04 700 sportsman. Works very good. Setup on instruction sheet is close to spot on.
Brute Force Boy, put a Maroon EPI spring in your with the rest of your stock stuff. It really wakes the 650's up!
Awesome vid! Brings a tear to my eye when I see the little dude hanging on for dear life! I missed that with mine cause his mom is a ditchpig! But we are making up for it now. Anytime a rig starts, he is in it! Look for a vid staring my munchkin soon!
