I had one on my old T-cat. Very nice tunnel and the U-cooler is a nice piece. Another nice tunnel is the CR Racing tunnel. Both companys are awsome to deal with. Replacing isn't that hard of a job. Take your time and take lots of measurements.

If you look on the back of the fan there is a Spal part #. You can order them onlone from them or talk to an auto parts store. The greaseless weights from Hunterworks or UTV Crap are a nice option if you want to make them almost maintance free. Have them in my Rhino and in my old Grizz.

Had the Highlifter kit on my 450 and they work real good. It is about a 2-3 beer job to install.

Yamaha used to sell a cover for the boots made of kevlar or something similar. I'll try and get a link for you. 4WD CV Boot Covers from Yamaha Accessories & Apparel They are for a 660 grizzly but should work.

Check the carb to head adapter (rubber boot deal). They have a habit of drying up and cracking causing an air leak.

I agree! Mine was a happy medium for 26" Bugs and 28" Mudzilla's that I swapped back and forth. (Sorry, should have mentioned that before.)

On mine I put in the EPI wet clutch springs (from the mudder kit), stock weights (16g I believe) and the orange spring. Worked real well. Lost a bit on top end but would still hang with the stock 700 Grizzlys.

Sounds like it may be out of time by a tooth. I'd check that first. Also is the battery in good shape? A bad battery will make them do that too.

If you can get 6 volt bats do it that way. Works way better!

I didn't pull the clutch off. Just removed the outer clutch cover and installed with it on the bike. Two people make it easier but not necessary.
