Hey folks. If any of you have not tried downhill mntnbiking.... give it a shot!! I got into it about 8 years ago and at first thought no motor no good, probably boring but it is a hoot! The technical aspect of the riding is compareable to sledding. Valemount is creating some super flowy runs...
Might head up Friday for a day ride. Driving up as the bird is in the shop. Anybody wanna jump in? If you love sledding and have never tried downhill biking... you are gonna love it!!!
Thanks Curtis, we will definately work out some sort of deal. Tinfoil hat looks like a super clean and flowy run from what i've seen. I was very impessed by some of the videos and cant wait to try it. With the snow we have had this year and the current long term forecast do you have a guestimate...
Hello folks, I know this is not snowmobile related but Im sure some of you may have some input. I am looking to hire a local this summer to occasionally pick a few of us up at the airport in valemount and shuttle us up the downhill mountainbike trail access road. We would be doing day trips so...
You are getting as bad as Maxwell with Doo, except his rants are somewhat entertaining, you just sound like a b****. What do you want from people over this... An 1100 turbo with a $500 box creates 200hp. Dont get me wrong, I know thats not an exact apples to apples and I am excited about the...
Agreed, My salesman told me they are so good on fuel I would never need a jerry can... I cant speak to how he rides but I need mine almost every day there is decent snow. Ive had a day where Ive burnt my tank, jerry can, bought another 22 litres off guys at the cabin and made it back to the...
Re: 2017 New Summit
HAHAHAHA This thread is retarded. Im gonna long track and turbo an old John deere Spitfire just so I don't have to pick a side/brand with all you Gomers. HAHAHA Cheers boys
Does anybody know if the steering post location is moved further forward as well due to the increased foot and leg room up front? In the current XM, with the riser mounted half azz straight to the post to avoid the poor feedback there is not much room to bring your body forward anyways...
Damn near went back to spirit but surprisingly the best snow we found was down in the creek/ trees behind the cabin. If you head south from the saddle and keep crawling down through the bush into the creek you will find some deeep stuff but bring a saw:d. Navigating from that creek up to the...
Rode Renshaw yesterday. We found areas in the trees to play that had over 2 feet but snow has definitely accumulated in specific spots rather than the entire area. A lot of areas are still very pounded out or have tracks and trenches with minimal cover. We still need a good reload to freshen...
drivers and gearing on T3 makes it a tractor. I haven't actually compared numbers but know for sure that there is quite a bit more track speed even between a xm and a t3. I believe T3s have 7 tooth drivers unsure of gearing.
I was there a week ago and plugged in as well. I did unplug one 3' christmas tree to find a plug that worked and thought no big deal. Came back out an hour later to the tree twinckling and my cord on the ground. Thats fair in my eyes and kinda a dick move on my part to unplug the tree but I wont...
Prob Renshaw but not sure yet. Rode Belle and Lucille last weekend and still good snow to be had around the creeks and in the bush. My kidneys are crying just thinking of that Renshaw trail but will prob end up going.
