Ok fellas, so far we have had 18 sleds polled. Here is how it smokes out so far. Total Sleds- 18 sleds with on or more bown belts- 4 total logged km on all sleds- 5643km total belts blown- 8 average belt life(all 18 sleds considered)- 705km average belt life on problematic sleds- 210km

Ya, all makes pretty tall. I demo'd a yeti last year. Had a bit of an oops when i brought it back and parked it in the row next to the others. When I went to put my feet down both of my pant legs hooked on the pegs. Knocked over all 3 bikes. About 50 people at the cabin just howling laughing...

I thought this may be the case as the prefilter kits were backordered and my sled looked lik puff the magic dragon every time we stopped(steam) and everything under the hood as well as clutch area had moisture on it. This is what my dealer is suspecting too and could explain the rpm spikes I am...

BRP Warrantied my first two belts and my dealer assured me they are looking into this and will have sorted out soon. Dealer also noted that my clutches and surrounding area had no oil residue as I cleaned everything very good before riding so I'm thinking we can rule that oil theory out in my case.

I agree 100% that barking at the volunteers working the booths deserves a beat down and common courtesy is not some peoples forte BUT this thread is getting pathetic!! Sounds like a bunch of old croneys at the coffee shop in the morning.
