I believe the numbers are down due to conditions. I ride Mcbride 90% of the time most years and truly enjoy the terrain and the people in the town. I have not rode there yet this year simply because of conditions. There have been some deep days but unfortunately they didn't get the snow that...
Looking for a crew of bikes to ride with. I'm the only bike in our sledding group and can see that may be ok but would like to go with some other bikes as well. I'm in Sherwood Park, got a heated 4 place and all the proper gear. This is my first snowbike but have been sledding in the hills and...
Got my kit all set up and went to do some ski pressure testing in the field. Had to run the wheels down the road for a bit and was really surprised just how awkward they are. After looking at the setup closer I understand the ergonomics and why it steers so odd. Has anybody actually learned how...
Inside dimensions 17.75 x 10.18 x 6.15
Exterior Dimensions 19.17 x 12.80 x 6.89
Weight (no foam) 4.57 lbs.
Do you have this mounted on the rack? Exterior dimensions look too big but it may work if the base tapers down. Cheers.
What's everyone using for storage on their Yeti racks. None of the stock boxes from pelican really match the space. A mountain addiction will fit sideways but will require a base plate mounted to the rack which is what I will be doing. A custom formed storage box from yeti would be pretty sharp.
Call up Acorn Welding in Edmonton. They are an aircraft shop I used to work at. I did a fair amount of ti work while I was there. Talk to Roy and tell them Mike sent you. If bung and pipe are drilled coped and clean I cant see them charging you much more than 100 bucks. A bunch of the best...
Hey folks, trading the timbersled kit I got with my bike in on a new 2017 yeti on thursday. Gonna let compete kit with jerry can and timbersled bag go for $3,700. New chain, sprockets and sliders. Everything on unit is tight and many of you know the guy that owned it prior is pretty meticulous...
I did a tonne of research and quizzed a lot of guys before making my decision. You will find a ridiculous amount of different opinions and mixed reviews. It's a lot like asking if a 16" wide is better than a 15" wide or if t motion is good. Some guys like this, some guys swear by that. I ended...
I was waiting for the new cat and told two separate dealers that whoever had the first one in stock would have cash in hand the minute it was pdi'd. I was told last week by both dealers that the bike has now been cancelled with no timeline to continue the project. Too bad as I would have...
I rented one to see if they were the real deal, just over a week later and the sled is sold and bike in the trailer. The bikes have a pretty big "fun factor". I don't think they will replace a sled on those epic days but this is what made me switch.
- The two days we rode snow conditions were...
The KTM belongs to Derek. Definitely a cool cat that takes care of his stuff. Both bikes are pretty well equally set up with extras. The Husky has the same motor and tranny as the ktm xcw500. Excellent point in regards to the contour track. Thanks for the input. Cheers
