How often do you guys get out to Blue River / Valemount. I seem to be able to make time for 3 trips a year myself. I agree on the crumby conditions around home. I don't remember the last time I had any desire to ride the 8'' of wind beat crusty saskatchewan snow.
Have you or anyone else considered going with the new 3.5 pitch 3'' track? Avid is making the drivers but I don't see the track listed in the parts catalog. 10# lighter and the extra inch between paddles should help grip the snow better.
Even though these X3s aren't really made for us in Western Canada.. (We have bush and swamps to navigate though)... These things look rad as hell. BRP is awesome. The stuff they've released lately seems to be the kind of thing that powersports nerds (snow&mudders) pushed through at a board...
I phoned avid. He's got a mold for the 6t 3.5 driver ready for the old drive shaft. He was skeptical about the track going around the tips of the rails w/o stabbing. I'm sure there will be a way around that too. I'm not worried, I think i'll give the new track a whirl myself. Looks great.
Marketing. Are there really tracks that are good for deep snow boon docking and other tracks good for deep snow climbing.... No. There are just good tracks. I get that 90% of riders goal isn't to climb the biggest dumbest hill they can find, but you can't ride mountains without going up hills...
Lenny, I think you're a bad poster. Post less. Way less. You can learn more from reading than you can teach from posting.

The only number you need is that the new one is 10 HP more. Don't worry about the 163.9 to 165. Just don't worry about it.

They need to run this, an 800 etec, and an axys all the same day for these numbers to mean anything. It's already been pointed out. They had an etec run 163... we don't even know what the ptek had by comparison. I feel Dynotech should know how to do a fair comparison. Why they have no interest...
Thanks for pointing out the fact that you looked like a jerk a few weeks ago. If I read what you said I would probably agree. And look, your brave and heroic interneting didn't prevent these last 3 from getting it. I wish it would have.. Their families do to, I assure you. We already knew that...
I actually think people seem a lot more cautious than they did 7-8 years ago. When I first started riding, every slope in Allan and Clemina were groomed by people highmarking the hell out of the place within a few days of a snow fall. Then 2009 happened.. I lost a v close friend that year like...
I'm not talking nice to anyone here and you guys still act like half wits. So... I guess we aren't solving anything.

I'd rather pu%&y foot around than act like a smug coward who thinks he's changing the world with re%&Ted forum posts. You're not doing anyone a damn bit of good here. Beat it
