Rumor has it a truck load got a $2800 ticket at the BC border somewhere. Clearly it's not Highway 16 from these comments. I left Fernie 6 hours ago and didn't see anything so I'm hoping it's just people from BC who don't want us there making this up. Several Fernie locals didn't seem too stoked...
I understand the point of the post but I would be more inclined to believe aftermarket turbo sales will plummet because of the factory doo offering. The end is near for some of these performance engine builders and turbo installers.
I read today that BC doesn't gaf about people coming to the province for whatever. Suggesting that we don't is exactly the same as encouraging us to do it. Suggestions aren't rules.
I think there are a few snow and mudder wives in this. Check it out.
Taking a stand against masks is such an odd hill to die on.

Because of the internet? Have you gone snowmobiling before or heard one start up? Stayed at a cheap motel with thin *ss walls next to drunk sled bros? Woke up to diesels warming up for 40 minutes when it's like -7 outside. Nothing about a sled weekend is quiet. lol. Just let me send my email...
One day this tech will provide us with backcountry mobile phone internet. Just not right away. At launch it's going to provide 'actual' high speed internet at launch for remote areas reliably and more cost effective than anything we've got today. Perfect for a back country sled cabin. The...
Where is cat going to pull an all new sled out from? These things take years to develop. Not to mention a huge investment. They're going to pay for this new project while cutting their declining sales in half now. They've been running out the clock for years with the chassis they had. Writing's...
Who is this supposed to get excited? Imagine being a cat dealer. Cat - 'Hey dealers, you're going to have to try to sell the same sled as the last 9 years in a shrinking market, only this year.. this year... You may be also be watching a few of YOUR customers load up blue sleds down the...
Rode Westridge today. 10 riders total. Most of the Alpine has been wind and sun affected. About 6-10 inches on top of a firm layer. Some of the shady leeward slopes were holding better snow. Lots of sun. Here's a pic.
The day I can pull my 4 place with an ev truck from Saskatoon to Valemount with a 30 minute charge in Edmonton in -30 is the day I trust an ev sled to last 120km in the Backcountry with charge to spare. These things use the same battery tech as everything else, they're not magic. If they had...
My doolaid radar wasn't sounding off reading Maxwells review. Sounded objective to me. Dgiles, Your maintenance takeaway spin did sound 'coolaidy' however.
An E sled would weigh and cost as much as a Tesla model 3 if it could last an entire day and if motorized backcountry access gets shut down, the sport dies regardless of how machines are powered. Same would go for electric side by sides. I can't picture an application for batteries in the...
2020 Summit resale will be no different. These things will be $25000 OTD. Looks like fun. 40HP is what sleds have needed for years now. Forget all that other stuff I was saying before.
