If ou are just starting out I would go with a hardtail.They tend to make you a better ride as you don't have the full suspension to compensate for you.You learn the skills better.With a full suspension bike you can just plow through everything but with a hardtail you have to pick your lines to...
I have an 09 300xcw and love it.learned on a wr250f and found it a slug compared to the 300.the 300 is way lighter and easier to ride.I was amazed how low you can lug this 2 stroke.I was afraid the 2 stroke would hit to hard but it doesn't.only time I wish I had the 4 stroke is on loose wet hill...
I currently ride an 09 300XCW and absolutely love it. Previously rode a WR250F. The 300XCW is way lighter, more nimble and alot more power.
Only thing that I don't like so far is that it is too high for anyone that is short.
I am 5'7" and can barely touch the ground which sucks when the trail is...
Recently moved to Fort Mac from Vancouver area.Looking to do some cross county/hare scramble races.Anyone know where I can find some info?
Also where can I find info for single track types trails near Fort Mac?

Hello,all.I am new to the site.Will be moving to Fort McMurray next week.
Will be looking for help in the spring to find dirt bike areas and people to ride with.
