Things that make you go ???

I buy used everything. Used dirt bikes, sleds, trucks, cars, boats, trailers, campers, street bikes. Buy something that is a year or 2 old and let the sucker who bought it new take the 40% depreciation. Then you get a nearly new toy that you can in turn sell in a few years and almost get what...

    Little Sand Cabin

The add is on the local Kijiji here too. What was the cost? I could see getting the family up there for a weekend of fun next spring. UNBELIEVABLE Snowmobile, Backcountry Ski Cabin for rent - Cranbrook Snowmobiles For Sale - Kijiji Cranbrook Canada.

    Little Sand Cabin

Agreed, super bumpy ride in and poor terrain. I wouldn't bother going there either.

    Little Sand Cabin

Nice, always fun being the person to break trail up from the notch to the top of cabin side. We have had to dig through drifts early season to get up there. Had some great runs on that slope. The no boarding is pretty impressive in your video.

    Sledders Helping the CAC

Yeah that is part of the job though. I was on track to be a full ski guide before I realized that I didn't like my clients anymore. Documenting and reporting avy condition's to fellow guides and industry are part of the job. It is the CAC that disseminates the information to us lowly...

    Sledders Helping the CAC

Was perusing the CAC website as I often do at lunch and noticed a few bigger donations from various non-profit sledding societies. These are from the ABC and Smithers Snowmobile Club, way to go guys! What I also noticed was the fact that there are not a lot of big checks being handed out to...

How many trees did you hit this season?

Looks like a bad one, that is a pretty big tree!

How many trees did you hit this season?

A couple from a few years ago as I didn't do anything to dumb this year. That Polaris pic was pretty much the end of it. It was pretty smooshed. After going through my archives I noticed that at least I seem to keep smiling when I am wrecking my stuff.

A-arm slightly out of alignment....big problem or not?

Use it as a sticking point and get it cheap if you can. I wouldn't buy a bent one but I would ride one the way it is if I did it myself. You will not notice any difference when you are riding it and it won't affect anything but I would only buy a bent sled if it was a wicked deal. Show me a...

Crazy Snowmobile Accident. Guy Get's Trapped Under snowmobile while running - YouTube Haven't seen this one on here yet, sorry if it is a re-post. Crazy what it did his jacket. If his buddy hadn't of been there he would have turned him into hamburger.

    Should tires be toed out?

You will need to rotate your tires every other drive to work the way they are right now. Especially if they are "visibly" toed out.

New Boat from Alberta transfer to BC

Hey there folks, I am hoping someone can help me here. Over the weekend I bought a used boat from someone who keeps the boat in BC waters but the trailer is registered in Alberta. What do I have to do to transfer the trailer to me and insure it here through ICBC? The boat registration is...

    Moutan sled for two-up

Re: louis vuitton outlet 803 I would go with one of the new Tundra Extremes for your use. I am sure that you can get a back rest for it. Once to get to the harder riding, ride tandem (one on each running board) and away you go. I am amazed where we can get people riding tandem.

Two great gear companies for our passion....

Good quality clothes but my problem is that the styling looks like they are made for 50 year guys who wear hats with flames on them and love Nascar. Not judging just saying that they are not for me. There is a market of sledder / skier / boarder hybrids out there that Klim and Motorfist are...

    2005 skidoo summit 800

Good sleds, if they have more than 4000 km's on them they are a ticking time bomb. Make sure the front end is straight as they tend to twist / tweak pretty easy. Other than that if it is a good one they are are a super fun sled and 05 / 06 was the best year for them.

Condolences, it can happen to anyone. Flat light, a second of not paying attention, bad luck. Sucks.
