Took my beloved 2011 EVO 250 apart last night and found out what that grinding noise was. Looks like I need a new crank, bearings, and top end as well as all the gaskets kits that go along with the re-build.
I live in BC in Canada and I am having a heck of a time finding parts. I am...

I just poked my head in for a quick second after quitting snow and mud a couple of years ago as I got out of sledding. The reason I left sledding was because of the dangerous behavior I saw in the back country. So today I was curious what the sledding community was going to say about all the...
I am looking for a bike for my wife. My 2 sons and I ride a lot and my wife wants to get a bike so we can all go out together. She is coming in without a ton of experience. We ride 99% trails. I have been looking at a CRF150F but the thing weighs 230 pounds. It is 10 pounds heavier than my...
I saw this happening over the weekend. I never left a mess anything like this even when I was a partying young man on a weekend bender camping trip. You can't lump everyone into one category or sterotype but these douche canoes are not helping red plates become more welcome here in the...
Sure you do that as the the new beacons have twice the transmitting power as well, which is super smart of you. But I am sure you knew that as the experienced avalanche professional that I am sure you are. LOL
As for riding in areas without avi potential, there are lots if a guy is careful. I...
It takes about 4-10 years of experience and apprenticeship to be a certified ACMG Ski guide. ACMG guides know their stuff and all the experience and knowledge they gain about safe practices and snow science should be required for a sledding guide.
Being some yokel who knows the good places to...
It is true that you can get a lot of places where the masses are not. Especially in my little piece of paradise. I am still going to be there, just a lot more on the skis and touring. I will make sure to join Wildsite  and complain about all the sledders ruining my wilderness experience...
Well after years 15 years of sledding, tons of trips, and lots of good times I am out. Sold both sleds, trailer, and deck. Had fun on S&M and there are some genuinely nice people on here but I just can't take the scene any more.
Everywhere I go riding these days it seems I see dumb people...
You can put in a new crank, bearings and top end for about a grand on that sled. Freshen up the motor and you will have a good ride for a another few years.
