Might have to look at gearing for the 2000' riding. I am hoping to 68gr MTX's and the 3gr inner and 1gr outer for a total of 71.6 work for mcbride this week when we get there Friday
So I finally got out today to do some low elevation testing(2000')
2.8 hours on sled now.
I started out with the SLP recommendation of the 71grMTX with 2gr inner and 2gr outer. Pulled to 8600rpm.
Then I installed a 3gr rivet in the outer hole and left the 2gr in the inner hole. It dropped the...
Forgot to mention that I am running the SLP pipe and can for which the weight combo above comes from the SLP chart.
VM- is your set up posted using the pipe and can?

Just wondering if anyone who is running the SLP MTX weights would care to share if the recommended SLP configuration of 3gr in the base hole and 1gr in the tip is working ok.
Riding area is Vale/ Mcbride- 6500'
a very simple way of testing to see if there is ethanol in fuel. I run Costco premium and have never seen ethanol in it.
Add water to the water mark, and the rest with the fuel you want to test. Shake it up, if ethanol is present it will blend with the water and will raise the "water" line once...
True Adventure Gear is my glove of choice now. Always easy on and off even with wet hands......they do not have that inner liner that seems to always slide around like the Klims and others

Anyways, maybe if we could get this back on track....... As I mentioned in my post, 160hp and 408lbs. Put this with the Quick Drive system and I think the power that is going to get to the track and snow on this AXYS RMK. I just like how Polaris and Skidoo keep pushing the envelope to develop...
Anyways, maybe if we could get this back on track....... As I mentioned in my post, 160hp and 408lbs. Put this with the Quick Drive system and I think the power that is going to get to the track and snow on this AXYS RMK is going to be like no other Stock sled. I just like how Polaris and Skidoo...
All I can say is I can't wait to see what 160hp on a 408lbs mountain sled feels like. To use an over used phrase...... I think the AXYS RMK will be a "game changer" for the Mountain Segment in 2016.
I have 500 miles on the AXYS PROX so far this season and every time I through a leg over the...
The Cabin really does look nice. Great job guys.
We got to have a nice little bonfire last week when we were up. It was a socked in, so we stopped in to see if we could lend a hand and got to burn the scrap wood pile and old rafters which made for quite the blaze.
I think we are still two years away from a factory turbo, if they do go this way it would have to perform perfectly. The turbo segment has come along way since the 2011's. My guess will be a boon docker kit. If Burandt has it figured out and set up, that is what they will run. His sleds already...
