The difference in the end will be the result of the prep work the company performs prior to coasting it, the quality of the finish, and whether or not the pipe discolors after use. Poor prep = poor results and discoloration after use.
That's what you should be watching for. :d
Call Hugh or Larry at Top Gun Coatings in Calgary. They've been doing it for decades and their prices are very reasonable with top quality results. Used them many many times and never a poor result or bill I wasn't happy with.

Great reading...I still have a piston and rod from a JP1 Hemi that came from a friends AA Top Fuel Car when the guy who was driving it (Rod Hines) back peddled the car at half track and grenaded a motor. Pretty cool souvenir at 800.00 a rod. Ed wasn't too worried about it and just slapped a...
What did they charge you for it? Thinking of selling mine as I have a lead on a nicely modified turbo unit that I'm thinking of buying if I can sell mine first.
Depends how hard and how often you're going to hit it, and whether you run under drive or over drive pulleys. I'm planning to build another blower motor sometime soon and like 7.5:1 mill pressed pistons so that they can withstand some abuse. Some guys run 8:1 and higher but I like a lower...
I hit the line lock but didn't pump the brakes before bringing it up on the converter so that was in effect, a poorly launched burnout. Great for $hits and giggles all the same, and had to share. Tomorrow night is cruise night, can't wait. Oh yeah, just changed all the pulleys, mechanical fan...
Had to lay out a small one with my 55 after completing some work on the fuel system and cooling system over the last couple days. This is the way to test your improvements on a car. lol

Already got 2, and both concur with each other. I blew my back out a few times working for Pepsi back in the mid nineties and it felt great for a long time after healing but I then re-injured it in April while sledding and this time it isn't healing like before. Sign of age I guess.
In either...
Yes, that would be the goods. I recently re-injured my back and doctor told me this week I best be getting off the 2 wheeler and consider a quad or something. I am therefore selling the KTM I just finished and have it listed in the classifieds.
Here's the link if you or someone you know wants...
I have the Torque Lift Quick Release Tie Downs with the Fast Gun Connectors, and the Super Hitch with Dual Draw Extension Bar for towing up to 13,000 Lbs and it's all for sale. Might save you a nice dollar over the new stuff because it isn't cheap to buy. I'll send you my number via PM as it may...
Careful lad, some things in here don't react well to bullets! (said with a Scottish accent and slight lisp)
Give me one ping precilly, one ping only please! (said with a Scottish accent and slight lisp)
lmao
Playing with accents when drinking is like that old expression "but you shag one...
There it is in black & white. If you are reading this and you have his camera, send the card to him in a plain brown envelope. You can even send it C.O.D. via UPS if you can't afford the stamp. Stand up if you're reading this! :o
The car is a rust free body with an older frame off restoration. The GM crate motor makes 430HP/430TQ and it's backed with a 3500 stall Turbo 400 and a Ford 9" with 4:10 gears and Mosler axles. The car is also equipped with 4 wheel power disk brakes, centerlines and original code marina blue...

Whichever way bud. Heading out for a cruise with the family right now but we should chat. There's a pre 64 car show this weekend (Rollers) at Centennial Park up 14th and 20 Ave NW that I may take in Saturday.
Loving this thing already...that's for damned sure.
