I found with mine I had to replace the rollers in the primary a couple times not cheap 30 bucks a roller but it helped. If they are even a bit loose, was told that they will drag. The old rollers wore out real easy due to the material in them, but the last set I bought had been changed I think...

Sounds like me with my 07, 4 top ends, a crank, 2 key failures (while on mountain did learn after first one to pack spare), constant clutch adjustments, finally had it running pretty good and someone stole it. Just my luck

I have seen them on trials in the bush and get they caught up on trees accross the trail lots as they will not grab and go over like a tire but the track goes under it causing you to always have to move the tree.
