I have a 2012 etec and I am wonder what guys are using for a spring compressor on the secondary, I want to replace the spring and helix. Any instructions on this would be great as I am a bit confused on where to start once I have the secondary and the jackshaft out. Thanks
A couple years ago I found a note in my bag from customs stating that my bag had a random search done I had no idea till I opened it at home I kinda thought it was crap, but nothing was missing.
Sorry to hear that, good trucks too, my mother had her 2002 stolen a little over a year ago, truck was in mint shape and she had it since new, it was found with a missing tail gate and burnt to the ground near Okatoks, what a waste of a great truck. I really hope things turn out better for you...
I agree with the fender flares they beat up the paint and rattle and I am not to big of a fan. I put a 20 inch +20mm offset on my 2011 Duramax and they sit really nice with out any fender flares, my tires are 305/55/20 so not too huge but look like a proper fit not to big not to small for only...
I've gone as far as not evening having people to my house if I'm selling something I will load my stuff up and meet them somewhere. I dont need some creep in my house and knowing where I live and what I have.
I am in the same boat how many panels are required to do a 27 foot v nose including the rear door? I dont have the trailer near by to go check how many I need.
I just drive over the edge of the quad tire right up close to the rim with my truck, then spin the qaud tire 180 and drive over it again, make sure both tires are dry or it will just slide off. It helps to have 2 people and turn the truck tire around the curve of the quad rim as you drive over...
You may have to check with another dealer cause I believe there are some out there that will pull out the exhaust and urea system and run a tune into it for you and keep the warrenty. Just do some checking around I am not sure which dealers.
Has anyone installed a BMP muffler sensor adaptor? or any other brand. Is the idea of this to get away from the bog/engine retarding that some people get with after market cans?
I have issues selling stuff. If the ad is there assume it is for sale and ask a legit question about what I am selling, instead of "Is it still for sale". Then never hearing a word back from them after i say it is. I tried to buy a tread mill from someone that was about an hour away once, when I...
Ya I did realize that the cognito ball joints are not as good as the stock, so do you recommend the chev heavy half ball joint, and not the 1 ton balljoints?? Can they be swapped out of the cognito control arm and put in? I have "heard" that chev has improved the ball joints in the newer trucks...
I did about 40,000 km on my last 1 ton with them on and still had more than halfish of the tread left. All hiway and a little trailer pulling. I do not find they howl bad I have had alot worse I like them enough that I went with them again. I have heard guys will get 70 to 90,000 km, but dont...
I put new pro comp keys in which I beleive set the front up 2.25", put cognito upper control arms in, and I think I have 2" longer Icon shocks. I took the bottom front spoiler (or what ever you want to call it, the 2" peice below the bumper) off and changed the mud flaps to thin aluminum 1/2"...
If your refering to the chev, my 2011 does not have coil over springs and the father inlaws 2012 does not either, the dodge and ford have them. On the chev sure torque up the keys but your ride is going to change and the upper control arm is going to bottom out. I would recommend the upper...
