I have been reading the reverse override mod thread and it just doesnt seem to apply to the 400. I have no over ride button on my quad and when I pulled the air box ,thinking I could solve it by grounding the far right of the 4 pins on top of the trans, I only find 3 pins . I am not sure...

I had the same problem with my 400 kodiak, dealer in Peace river told me to put aftermarket pads on as the yamaha pads are too hard, I did that and the noise went away . I havent had a problem since That was maybe 800 km ago I do not recall the brand of pads they were though ,sorry
No trick! i just happened to be walkin by and there is Graham who swears the oath of allegiance to the doo doo gods every morning sitting on and seemingly contemplating the fun he might have on a .... wait for it.... CAT! His Poor son could barely bring himself to to cross the line into the cat...
BOYS..BOYS.. relax , it's not what you ride that is important. It's what you can manage to stay on that counts . those cats look like they have slippery seats :d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d
I would learn as much about you sled as possible before you make changes. learning the sled and how it performs under different conditions will hep you learn what types of mods will help and what wont. You dont want to fix something that isnt broken yet.;)
I have an 08 gt with no issues so far i bought the extended warranty although I havent needed it. I only have about 550k so far I have started it at -30 no troubles but it does turn ove r hard at that temp. I think the extra warranty is worth if only for the peace of mind
