800R big bore kits....whose do you have, and how's it workin?

I agree with your post, the mountains are where it counts... However if a persons motor isn't proven on the dyno, how does he know if it's his setup or his motor that is his woes when he is getting his ass handed to him in mountains?. I know what you mean about working the Dyno just to get a...

    Kakwa snow conditions

Wow, that was a large slide! We were in kakwa yesterday, real icy trail, had overheating troubles going in and out. (will be buying scratchers this week) Stopped at the cabin to get the GARBAGE update... ***This just in, in the morning 1 half empty bottle of water was left behind, however...

    Kakwa conditions updates

We were in Kakwa Yesterday, the trail in was super icy and the two sleds without scratchers kept on overheating on the way in and on the way out. other than that it was good ride.

    Edmonton Snowmobile Show

I would love to see a swapmeet section! I'm not to excited about going to Dead Rear for a show, however if it alternated between Edmonton and Calgary I think that would be fair, and I would make the effort to attend both shows.

    Costco....

I know lot's of people don't like Costco, However I think everyone that lives in Grande Prairie owes them a thank-you. Remember the days before they started selling gasoline???. When they opened up the gas bar it forced every gas station in town to drop their price by ten cents a liter. I'm a...

    Kakwa snow conditions

The SNOW conditions are good as are most places that got hit with that big dump of snow, I think there was more snow there last year at this time, however right now the powder is sick. It had this fatguy played out in no time. I never did stop at the cabin to check the GARBAGE conditions, I...

    2 stroke A/F ratios

I'm Tired of doing it that way, that's why I bought the A/F gauge.;)

    2 stroke A/F ratios

Yes, I would say every engine is slightly different, and it would somewhat depend on the location of your sensor also. When I talked to some "expert" at Koso, he told me when they dynoed a ski-doo motor in their testing, it ran in the low 13's and never melted down/seized. They viewed that as...

    2 stroke A/F ratios

I actually checked mine on the dyno. I have a Koso as well, on the Dyno at WOT the peak HP jetting was 12.5 on the gauge. A little leaner (not burn down lean) was 13.1 . I was told that due to the pulse of the whole pipe deal with a two stroke that the high numbers a person see's at idle and...
