Did you port your 3'' fred? I did my 2.5 extreme on my old sled as well as removed every second clip. I liked the results it made performance wise and I never had a problem with durability. Wonder if these new 3'' will stand up to these mods after adding extra power to the sled
I have a new style 3'' installed in my '14, we will see how she goes in a month or so. See how it goes with stock power till first week of January then adding boost. Will be nice to see how the track works stock and boosted
Call the shop and talk to Darryl or Lance I think their number is 403 254 8686. Or if you want you could try Specialty Sleds in Edmonton, they sell Racers Edge stuff and could probably hook ya up
I think your best off riding each 3 and decide on what chassis you feel most comfortable on. They are all pretty good these days buy they are all a totally different animal to handle.
I have also delt with him many times. Good enough guy. I wouldn't think he would knowingly screw a guy on something. He has a good reputation around the area with other guys I know too.
I had a D&R on my rev. The belt guard and the pieces of aluminum at the end of the foot holes I reused just by trimming them down to fit with the drop. Belt guard I also reused just had to move the mounts down a couple inches and it was good to go
I think they are about 135hp in stock form. Pretty easy to make power with them though. Good set of pipes, open up the air box, porting is a must, Crank the timing as far advanced as it will go (probably need to run av gas) and that should get you at the 160hp mark I would think. I have seen...
Give this shop a call. The owners name is john. Im pretty sure he has a good powder upgrade for the 600HO that includes 700 jugs and new pistons. If you want to make power, more displacement is a really good way to go. I ran one of his engines for 5 years problem free. You could also consider a...
Ya its pretty much just a shock upgrade. Drops a bunch of weight from the skid too. I just got an Emotion set up for my '14. The rear arm looks a lot stronger too. I had Fox floats on my old sled for 5 years (Timbersled skid) had no issues so hopefully this set up is the same or I will be going...
