I got tired of emptying my rain guage daily during this deluge of rain.
I have invented the “rain barrel guage.” I’ll only have to empty it every couple weeks.

The Nooksack River across the border is in flood stage again. Water seems to be coming over the border again. In bc, I think the creeks are around 70% of what they were in the big flood but it changes hourly. Most are ok for now,

Highway one in the Sumas Prairie is now closed due to flooding. The flood siren has sounded in Sumas, Washington. It’s pretty warm today which is weird. Pinneapple express I guess. I checked a creek today and the water was oddly warm.
