The sad thing is it effects all sides of the job force...not just the oil companies.....It goes right down to the bottom as there will not be as many people spending money.
Grooming has begun on the Finn creek trail to Groundhog, We are expecting to have the bridge in around the 20th. It requires a consultant to supervise installation and a whole bunch of rules attached to the permit, which we still don't have.

We've been on the phone Email etc for the last 2 days. Have everyone we can think of MP, MLA regional rep, forestry, Highways all on it. I don't think anything will happen quick.
We are looking at options to plow a new parking area somewhere but that will take some time.
Just an added thought both the fingers trail and North blue have been groomed a couple of times this year no charge to anyone. Thanks to a local volunteer
Membership is annual it supports BRPP and the provincial association ABCSnow who work year round on next to no budget. Membership also gives us numbers which carry a lot of weight with government when negotiating. All sledders should be members of the club of their choice it is a small price and...
