Check your head gasket it's probably pooched. If it takes a lot to get going when it's warmed up that is because the gasket shrinks and the compression goes down making it hard for the engine to keep running. Best thing to do would be run it until it's warm then check the compression in both...

The non-ported track doesn't work as well as the ported track but it still works, and it runs around 145-150hp at sea level and drops about 17-20hp at 8000ft. It will lose as much as 25hp at elevations higher then 8000ft. Hope this helps.
